Yet another member of Belobog’s Landau family joins the fun in Honkai: Star Rail. Lynx, the youngest sister of Gepard and Serval, will become a playable character in update 1.3 later this year. She belongs to the Path of The Abundance and dishes out Quantum Damage.

Here’s what the official description provided by HoYoverse says about Lynx:

"’In the Landau family, things are quite simple: If you want to do something, just go ahead and do it.’ The youngest daughter of the Landau family, and one of Belobog's best extreme environments explorers. She is highly capable of action despite her apparent lack of motivation. She only appears introverted and lazy to avoid unnecessary socialization. As for what counts as unnecessary socialization – ‘Um, isn’t all socialization unnecessary?’"

The announcement revealed that Risa Mei will be the voice actress for Lynx in the English language version of the game. Genshin Impact players will know her as the voice of Sangonomiya Kokomi. Kokomi is an actual introvert and doesn't simply pretend to be one, so there is a fun little connection between Mei's two characters.

Since Lynx follows The Abundance, chances are high that she’s going to be a healer, which would make her the second 4-Star healer available in the game. That’s good news for anyone without Bailu or Luocha – and for Natasha’s back, which must be bent by now from carrying so many players.

Honkai: Star Rail 1.3 will feature Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan as its 5-Star characters. As yet it’s unclear on whose banner Lynx will be found.

Before all of these characters join the fray, version 1.2 is on the agenda: It’ll feature Blade, Kafka, and Luka, as well as the continuation of the main story arc. A livestream scheduled for this next weekend will tell us more about the update.
