Fans of strategy games can enjoy two fantastic examples of the category from different genres for free this weekend: Marvel’s Midnight Suns, a turn-based strategy and card game hybrid, and Age of Empires 4, the latest entry into the legendary real-time strategy series, both have a free weekend on Steam. If you’re a strategy gamer playing on PC, who so far held off on these titles, this is a great opportunity to jump in and try them out.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns was one of the best game releases in 2022, though its commercial success has not caught up to its critical accolades. It recently added Deadpool in its first DLC pack and will soon gain another antiheroic addition in the form of Venom. We have some Marvel’s Midnight Suns beginner tips to get you started quickly.

You can play Marvel’s Midnight Suns for free on Steam until February 19, 2023, at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm GMT / 7pm CET.

Age of Empires 4 is the long-awaited continuation of one of PC gaming’s most legendary series of all time. Released in 2021, it lacked a lot of essential features and contained many technical issues, which quickly destroyed the hype the game had behind it initially.

Since then, much work has been done, and Age of Empires 4 is a very complete RTS game now that is worthy of being part of the Age of Empires franchise. Two additional factions were added to the game for free in 2022, the Malians and the Ottomans, and Season 4 has just begun. Check out the Age of Empires 4 cheats to extract the most amount of fun possible of your free time with the game.

You can play Age of Empires 4 for free on Steam until February 20, 2023.

There is also a sale with a 40% discount going on right now for both titles.
