Out of the Park Baseball 24 will be released in March 2023 /

Out of the Park Baseball 24 finally has a release date: the sandbox management game will be available on PC and Mac on March 24, 2023.

As usual, you’ll get to take over the role of a team’s general manager in Major League Baseball, dealing with all affairs from finances over scouting and trading to deciding the lineups for your team’s upcoming games.

Out of the Park Baseball 24 improves on its predecessors with overhauled 3D animations for crowds, fielding, pitching, running, and batting. This annual iteration also contains improvements for Franchise Mode in the form of more challenging decisions and a better AI, while the popular Perfect Team Mode (which is the series’ version of EA Sports’ successful Ultimate Team Mode) also gets shiny new features, which will be revealed over the next couple of weeks.

“Out of the Park continues to deliver an immersive GM experience showing a side of baseball most fans never get to see, plus the meaningful choices and on-field action they crave,” said Jamie Leece, MLB Senior Vice President of Games & VR, in a press release. “Plus, this year’s improved on-the-field presentation lets fans feel the game like never before, adding emotional weight and incredible payoff to off-field decision-making. And we can’t wait to see their reaction when OOTP 24 debuts legendary players as you’ve never seen them before.”

Out of the Park Baseball 24 will be available for $39.99 via Steam, Epic Games Store, and the developers own website for PC, Mac, and Linux. Pre-ordering the game gets you a 10% discount, three days of early access, and a Perfect Team Gold Pack.
