Palworld is suffering from success: The survival crafting game that took some hefty inspiration from Pokémon is having a stellar launch day in terms of popularity. At the time of writing we’re looking at over 360,000 concurrent players of the game on Steam – tendency: rising.

Pocketpair, which developed and self-published the game, has been caught off-guard a little bit by this enormous response and seemingly hasn’t prepared adequate server power to handle all the multiplayer servers players are opening. At the moment, Palworld servers may not be able to connect properly. While this is frustrating for players, the developer has already responded and is working on bringing additional resources into the fray to stabilize the experience.

Taking to social media, they wrote: “We are blown away with the response to Palworld and we're doing our best to respond to your issues! Currently, our server provider is reporting that due to the large amount of concurrent players, the servers have become unstable and you may be experiencing issues connecting to servers.”

“We are working to resolve this ASAP! In the meantime, some users have reported success in attempting to connect 2-3 times or waiting after launching the game,” they concluded.

Patience is going to be your greatest asset at the moment, along with occasional refreshes on your connection attempts.
