The Pokémon Company has officially unveiled the first trailer for the Treasures of Area Zero Epilogue, which will allow players to catch the brand-new Mythical Pokemon, Pecharunt from January 11, 2024.

Ever since the Indigo Disk DLC was released, datamines revealed Pecharunt as a Pokémon that wasn’t yet catchable in-game, and further uncovered the plot details for this upcoming epilogue. We won’t discuss those leaks so you can stay spoiler-free, as we now know that the event will be playable in just a few weeks.

The trailer doesn’t show much, other than a return to Kitakami, alongside characters from the main story including Nemona, Penny, and Arvin. It’s like both Carmine and Kieran from the DLC will return too, as Kitakami is their home. This epilogue story is only expected to be about an hour long, but it will make it the longest-ever event for a Mythical Pokémon.

You will need to have purchased the DLC in order to access it, as well as completed the story for the main game and both DLCs by the time the event becomes available on January 11.
