Update (October 11, 2023): The PS Plus Extra and Premium games for October 2023 have been officially announced by Sony, confirming all titles listed below. In addition, Outlast 2, Eldest Souls, and Röki have been added to the catalog.

Original (October 9, 2023): You already know what this is about: French leaker billbil-kun has revealed the PS Plus Extra and Premium games for October 2023 early, saying that the official announcement of these titles will follow on October 11, 2023.

Do take this information with a grain of salt until then – only a tiny one, though, since billbil-kun is usually spot on about anything they leak.

According to this early reveal, Gotham Knights headlines October’s PS Plus Extra and Premium games. Released in October 2022, the game received mixed scores from both critics and users according to Metacritic, leaving much to be desired in comparison to its predecessors. Perfectly timed for Halloween and the spooky season, The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes will be available in the catalog as well. Disco Elysium The Final Cut and Far: Changing Tides will be part of this wave of releases as well.

Gungrave GORE, space adventure Elite Dangerous, Dead Island Definitive Edition, and the excellent survival horror title Alien Isolation are set for an October 2023 addition to PS Plus as well.

In order to access all of these titles with your PS Plus subscription, the Essential tier won’t be enough – these are Extra and Premium tier games. The Callisto Protocol and some other titles will be available for PS Plus Essential in October 2023, though.

Sony recently increased the PS Plus prices, which did not go down well with many of its users as a price hike of over 30% in some regions is an extreme one.
