PS Plus Extra and Premium members can look forward to a fresh wave of games joining the catalog of available titles on January 16, 2024.

Leading them is Resident Evil 2 Remake, the reimagined version of the 1998 survival horror classic with Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield. Raccoon City may be as you remember it – though it’s a lot more beautiful now – but Capcom built in some fresh surprises for veterans.

The Resident Evil 2 Remake was hugely successful and is coming to PS Plus / Capcom

Another big one is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, which is basically Borderlands’ take on Dungeons & Dragons. Yes, it’s as wild as it sounds. Yes, you’ll absolutely be screwed over by the looting table – some traditions just don’t die out.

Hardspace: Shipbreaker completes the trio of headliners for this wave. Put on the shoes of a hard-working shipwrecker, who slices space yachts and old freighters into little pieces to pay off his substantial debts. Oddly relaxing, equipped with an impressive physics engine, and stuffed with tongue-in-cheek observations on late-stage capitalism, this one is recommended.

Other titles included in this wave are:

  • LEGO City Undercover
  • Just Cause 3
  • Session: Skate Sim
  • Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun
  • Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong
  • Surviving the Aftermath

There is some solid genre variety here with Shadow Tactics as hardcore stealth tactics game and Surviving the Aftermath bringing some post-apocalyptic city-building to the table.

Most anticipated PS5 games coming in 2024
