Today Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League got a brand new trailer at The Game Awards, as hosted by Geoff Keighly.

It was slightly bittersweet though, as it reminded fans that Batman’s iconic animation and video game voice actor, Kevin Conroy, sadly passed away earlier this year.

His memory, and talents, live on though, as he had already performed all necessary lines for the upcoming game.

The trailer was fairly exciting, with the Suicide Squad seemingly getting their way as one of the members holds up a bloodied and beaten Flash.

It’s an intense trailer, clearly trying to showcase the mature themes of the DC Universe. But of course, the climax of Kevin Conroy’s Batman entering the scene to shout at Harley Quinn and the gang is like nothing else.

Finally, we do at last have a release date for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and we’ll be able to play this belter on May 26, 2023. Don’t hold your breath, but keep an eye on this one, as it’s set to be much more impressive than Gotham Knights.
