If you ever asked yourself how an Indiana Jones movie would play as an XCOM-like video game, then The Lamplighters League is your definite answer. Developed by Harebrained Schemes and published by Paradox Interactive, The Lamplighters League is set to launch on October 3, 2023, on PC and Xbox Series X|S. It'll be available via Xbox Games Pass on Day 1.

We recently had the chance to play the first two missions of the game for our The Lamplighters League preview and were immediately hooked by all the mystery, flair, and depth the game had to offer even in this early stage. Combining stealth gameplay with turn-based tactical combat, it manages to create a slick experience in which you investigate a secret organization and try to foil its sinister plans.

Check the newly released trailer for the game out below:

Joining Showgunners and Miasma Chronicles, The Lamplighters League is a third attractive entry into the turn-based tactics genre this year – XCOM 3 may not become a reality for many years to come, but fans of the genre are feasting good.
