RPG fans already have their eyes set on Fall 2024, when Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to be released. Earlier this year, The Chinese Room and Paradox already revealed some gameplay footage from the upcoming title and now they have shared the details on which abilities players can access if they choose to join the Brujah Clan.

As expected by their prior descriptions, the Brujah are a group of brutal brawlers, who can buff their strength by feeding on their victims. However, the Brujah aren’t necessarily relying on the steady supply of fresh blood to stay strong: Thanks to their clan perk, Pulverize, they can gain strength buffs by killing enemies even without sucking them dry. Perk of loving the job, I guess.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2: Brujah abilities

Abilities are called Disciplines in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 and members of the Brujah Clan have access to the following:

  • Charge: Storm forward with supernatural speed and grab the first target you collide with, using it as a battering ram to knock down additional enemies in your path.
  • Taunt: Enrage nearby targets and force them to attack you, which in turn makes them more susceptible to damage.
  • Lightning Shocks: Set targets for a volley of melee strikes and then unleash them, finishing off the salvo with your most powerful punch.
  • Earthshock: Slam the ground to create an upwards explosion around you, sending any nearby targets flying.
  • Brutality (Clan Passive): Feeding temporarily enhances the strength of melee attacks.
  • Pulverize (Clan Perk): Killing enemies without feeding on them still activates your Clan Passive.

It’s important to note that you’re not going to be bound to using only Brujah Disciplines if you elect to join them. In Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, you can customize your skills freely by investing points in various abilities. However, you’ll be able to get skills that fit your clan’s style at a cheaper price.

The Brujah excel in Celerity, Potence, and Presence. If you want an ability from another clan that is from the Celerity category, you can get it cheaper than, say, one from the Obfuscate class.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2: Brujah dialog options

Choosing the Brujah as your clan in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 comes with a certain set of expectations. They are known for their short temper and brutality, which is why characters you meet during your journey will expect you to behave that way. Naturally, some unique dialog options for the Brujah will be connected to these preconceptions.

However, you should know that you’re not bound by them. You can still defy expectations and play your character a different way, in which case the people you meet will actually react with surprise at meeting a Brujah that behaves strangely in their eyes. That can make for a unique playthrough on its own.
