The Tremere Clan is the second of four families that Phyre, the recently revealed main character of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, can join. The Tremere are experts at Blood Sorcery, using the blood of vampires as a deadly weapon. They are highly regarded as scholars and often pursue knowledge relentlessly, obsessed with uncovering secrets and techniques.

Should you choose to make Phyre into an experienced Tremere Warlock, you’ll have access to powerful ranged attacks that’ll cost you some of your own life force as you use up your blood to cast the spells. Such are the Tremeres’ abilities that they can even manipulate the blood inside other beings, ripping it straight out of their veins from a distance or boiling it inside their body.

Their perfect mastery of Thaumaturgy in combination with a strict adherence to their hierarchy as well as their secret nature makes them arguably the most powerful clan of all in modern times. They are a steadfast pillar of the Camarilla, though some of them may even consider themselves above regular vampires, thinking of themselves as the next step in evolution.

You can watch a trailer introducing the Tremere below:

Just like with the previous reveal, the full list of disciplines available through the Tremere Clan will become available in early 2024.

Last week, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 revealed the Brujah Clan as the first family option. The third playable Clan for the game will be unveiled on November 30, 2023. Even vampires take the day off for Thanksgiving, apparently.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, taking place in an alternate version of modern Seattle, is set to be released in Fall 2024.
