Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2: Ventrue are the final playable Clan
It’s going to be a tough choice for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 protagonist Phyre: She can transform into a melee powerhouse of the Brujah Clan, gain mastery of blood sorcery in the Tremere Clan, become a silent reaper of the Banu Haqim, or join the fourth and final family available in upcoming RPG – the Ventrue Clan.
The Ventrue see themselves as rightful vampiric royalty – they favor people of influence, wealth, and power when choosing a worthy progeny. They strive to occupy leadership roles wherever they find them, making them an influential force in the Camarilla Courts.
Naturally, their powers lend themselves to exactly that: Their sheer presence is intoxicating and alluring and they dominate the minds of friends or foes alike, using them as pawns and puppets in whichever scheme they’re hatching. Such is their mesmerizing aura that victims don’t even want to run away from them – or just follow the order to kill themselves, if you command it.
The Ventrue will likely be the best choice for players favoring the style of a persuader, seducer, and puppeteer – a tongue of silver pays dividends in gold, so to speak. You don’t even have to get your own hands dirty most of the time.
Phyre will be able to join any of the revealed four clans in the launch version of the game. Two additional families will join the fun after release in the form of DLC.
Details on all the abilities each clan can unlock for players will be shown early next year. Those eagerly awaiting a gameplay reveal won’t need to be patient for all the much longer either, as this is set to happen in January 2024.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, developed by The Chinese Room and published by Paradox Interactive, is set to be released in Fall 2024.
