Upcoming RTS game Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin will be out on November 17, 2023, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S digitally with a physical release for the console versions planned for February 27, 2024. In addition, two DLC packs for the game have been announced ahead of release, containing one hero unit each.

Yndrasta, the Celestial Spear, is a Stormcast Eternals champion wielding the legendary weapon Thengevar, which can be used as a ranged weapon to disrupt enemy formations and inspire her allies. She’s a flying unit thanks to the wings sprouting from her back, making her a mobile army leader.

Gobsprakk and Yndrasta are the two DLC heroes announced for Realms of Ruin / Frontier Developments

Gobsprakk, the Mouth of Mork, is a cunning shaman of the Orruk Kruleboyz and takes to the sky as well – though not on his own wings, but relying on his Corpse-rippa Vulcha for transport. He quickly darts around the battlefield, rallying masses of Orruks and unleashing devastating spells from above.

Both DLC packs will be released after the digital game launch at an as-yet undetermined date. Players can obtain the DLC either by purchasing the Ultimate Edition of the game for $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99, which comes with both packs on top of the base game, buying a bundle with both DLC included for $8.99 / £6.99 / €8.99, or getting one of the packs separately for $4.99 / £3.99 / €4.99.

The physical edition of the game for consoles being launched next year will include both DLC packs.

Players who own Yndrasta and/or Gobsprakk can swap them into their roster for multiplayer, skirmishes, and conquest mode instead of the default characters, so it’s not like DLC owners will get to field a higher number of hero characters in a game.
