Warhammer Skulls 2023 did not have the highly anticipated Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 release date in store that people were looking for, but a bunch of pleasant surprises still made sure that fans weren’t disappointed.

Frontier Developments revealed the Age of Sigmar RTS game it’s been working on for the past couple of years. It’s called Realms of Ruin and will launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S – check our in-depth article about the reveal for more information.

Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks was another completely new reveal. Developed by Caged Element, it combines vehicle combat, racing, and Warhammer 40,000’s greatest engineers – Orks. What could possibly go wrong?

In terms of updates for existing games, Fatshark had some news about Vermintide 2’s new DLC and the latest content update for Darktide.

Free stuff is always good, right? Well, Creative Assembly made the Warhammer community a wholesome gift to celebrate the setting’s 40th anniversary by adding Harald Hammerstorm to Total War: Warhammer 3 as a free Legendary Hero.
