Control and MLB The Show 24 join Xbox Game Pass in March 2024
Microsoft has revealed the next batch of new Xbox Game Pass additions. In March 2024, subscribers can expect games from a variety of genres to show up in their library without any further cost to themselves – and, no, Activision Blizzard titles are not among them just yet. Call of Duty fans will need to be a bit more patient.
Fitting perfectly with the newest limited edition Xbox Series X, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is joining Game Pass on March 12, 2024. It features all original voice actors from the cartoon and multiplayer for some undersea fun with friends.
Things get a bit more serious with Control, a supernatural third-person action-adventure made by the creators of Alan Wake. In fact, Remedy Entertainment just bought back the rights for the Control IP from publisher 505 Games. The game’s Ultimate Edition is slated for its Game Pass debut on March 13, 2024.
Everyone looking for more of a fresh experience should keep their eye on Lightyear Frontier, a sci-fi farming simulator with mechs instead of tractors. Releasing in Early Access on March 19, 2024, it will be a Day 1 Game Pass title. The same goes for MLB The Show 24, which is going to make sports game fans very happy on the same day.
