The Xbox Games Showcase was one of the highlights of Not-E3 2023 and had plenty of news around Microsoft franchises and third-party games in store.

Playground Games finally broke the silence around Fable, revealing in-engine footage of the RPG, though not a release date as of yet. Things went better for sim racing fans, who finally know when Forza Motorsport will become available to them, and for CD Projekt RED enjoyers, who got a release date for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty.

No showcase these days is complete without some crossover announcements, and Microsoft had two of them to present: Microsoft Flight Simulator gets a Dune-themed expansion and the Sea of Thieves universe adds Monkey Island content. If this story is as well executed as the previous Pirates of the Caribbean crossover, fans are in for a treat.

That’s only the tip of the iceberg, however, so here’s a breakdown for all the announcements at the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023.
