Fallout

Fallout is a Bethesda RPG series featuring a simulated world and unprecedented player freedom.

Spawned out of an old isometric RPG series, the modern games feature a first-person perspective, bringing players up close and personal with the post-apocalyptic world.

The games are usually set in the USA and work as a satirical commentary.

Aesthetically, the Fallout games have a retro-futurist design, featuring robots and '60s iconography.

The games blend real-time gun and melee combat with the VATS system, which allows you to slow down time to target specific body parts.

Mainline games Fallout 3 and Fallout 4 were developed at Bethesda Game Studios, while Fallout: New Vegas was handled by Obsidian Entertainment, creator of Pentiment and Grounded.
