The Minnesota Lynx beat the Indiana Fever 69–52 in a WNBA Finals-clinching Game 5.

Lynx center Sylvia Fowles posted a game-high 20 points and 11 rebounds to pace Minnesota to its third title in the past five seasons. Fowles earned Finals MVP honors with the performance.

The Lynx led 27–21 at halftime and ripped off a dominant third quarter to extend a lead they would never relinquish. The Fever were never able to get back within single digits.

Seimone Augustus added 16 points for the victors. Star forward Maya Moore, who hit the game-winning jumper in Game 3, struggled, scoring just five points on 1-for-8 shooting.
