Sun star Alyssa Thomas and the Mystics’ Elena Delle Donne are among the list of 12 reserves for the 2023 WNBA All-Star Game.

Thomas, who currently leads the WNBA in career triple-doubles, will play in her fourth All-Star Game, while the two-time MVP makes her seventh appearance after being chosen by the league’s coaches.

The All-Star Game is scheduled for July 15 in Las Vegas.

Thomas currently leads the league in rebounding (10.4 per game) and steals (2.1 per game) while averaging 14.6 points per game for Connecticut, which sits in second place in the league’s standings at 12-4. Delle Donne is averaging 19.5 points (seventh-best in the league) and 6.3 rebounds per game this season.

Joining Thomas and Delle Donne as reserves in the frontcourt include Thomas’s teammate, DeWanna Bonner, Lynx forward Napheesa Collier, the Storm’s Ezi Magbegor and the Dream’s Cheyenne Parker. Magbegor and Parker will be playing in their first All-Star Game.

There is no shortage of talent among the reserves in the backcourt. The list includes the Sky’s Kahleah Copper, the Dream’s Allisha Gray, the Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu and Courtney Vandersloot, the Fever’s Kelsey Mitchell and the Aces’ Kelsey Plum. For Gray and Mitchell, it marks their first All-Star appearances.

Two-time MVP A’ja Wilson and 2018 MVP Breanna Stewart were named captains for the league’s exhibition game on June 25.

The other starters in this year’s game are as follows:

  • Aliyah Boston, Fever
  • Chelsea Gray, Aces
  • Brittney Griner, Mercury
  • Jewell Loyd, Storm
  • Arike Ogunbowale, Wings
  • Nneka Ogwumike, Sparks
  • Satou Sabally, Wings

Wilson and Stewart will pick their respective teams on July 8 at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN.
