Caitlin Clark's highly anticipated WNBA debut finally happened Tuesday night and it didn't go as she had hoped. Clark struggled a bit in the Indiana Fever's 92-71 blowout loss on the road to the Connecticut Sun.

The No. 1 pick in the last month's WNBA draft scored 20 points on 5-of-15 shooting and had 10 turnovers, which was the most ever by a player in their WNBA debut.

Clark got off to a slow start thanks to some early foul trouble and also had to shake off a big hit she took while driving to the basket.

Ouch.

The Sun's social media team had some fun with that:

Welcome to the W, indeed.

Clark's home opener comes Thursday night when the Fever host the Liberty.
