Becky Lynch is the new WWE Women's World Champion.

Lynch continued to cement her legacy at the conclusion of the April 22, 2024 edition of Monday Night Raw. Lynch competed in a battle royal for the vacant Women's World Championship.

In the end, "The Man" reigned supreme.

Becky had to battle through adversity in the match. After eliminating Piper Niven, Becky was dragged to the outside and ate a cannonball with her back on the ring steps. Niven then tried putting her through the announce table before Nia Jax intervened. Nia ended up hitting a Powerbomb on Becky to break the table during the commercial break.

Despite this, Becky ended up being one of the final three women in the battle royal match. "The Man" and Liv Morgan teamed to eliminate Nia.

When it was down to Becky and Liv, the two fought on the ring apron. Liv went for Oblivion, but was countered with the Manhandle Slam. Liv went crashing to the outside, and Becky Lynch is now a seven-time world champion in WWE.

The win comes just two weeks after Becky fell short in her bid for the same championship she just won. Lynch was pinned by Rhea Ripley in the first WrestleMania 40 match.

Ripley was forced to relinquish the WWE Women's World Championship due to an injury.
