Wrestling News: Former WWE Talent Signs With Another Promotion Following Release
One ex-WWE star has found a new wrestling company to call home.
Things are constantly moving in the wrestling business, and that much is evident from the stacked pool of talent who were free agents earlier this year. AEW scooped up Will Ospreay, Kazuchika Okada, and Mercedes Moné, while WWE reportedly looks to bring on former NJPW mainstay Tama Tonga and eventually ex-Stardom main eventer Giulia.

When it comes to a performer who was released by WWE last year, a new door has opened.
AJ Francis, formerly known as Top Dolla in WWE, has reportedly signed a deal with TNA Wrestling that will see him remain with the company throughout the year. The report comes from Fightful Select. Francis made his debut for TNA at the Hard to Kill pay-per-view back in January.
In his TNA debut, Francis attacked Joe Hendry after his rap performance was interrupted during the pre-show. He'd eventually defeat Hendry in a singles match two months later thanks to an assist from Rich Swann.
Francis had actually been released twice by WWE. His first release from the company occurred back in 2021 in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was brought back to the promotion in August 2022 alongside fellow Hit Row members with the exception of Swerve Strickland, who signed with AEW.
