A WWE superstar currently sidelined due to injury has reportedly been well-received backstage.

We've reached the final days before WrestleMania 40, and the superstar who has been shelved will indeed be a part of the show despite not being medically cleared to perform in the ring. The popular former world champion won't be wrestling on the two-night special, but he will still have a big role at WrestleMania Sunday.

PW Torch reports that CM Punk has received positive reviews backstage for how he has carried himself with fellow talent and even management. The report also notes that World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and Punk haven't had any problems when preparing for their segments. The two have blurred the lines on what's legit when it comes to their "beef," but many fans believe they have already struck gold in terms of chemistry.

Punk suffered a torn triceps injury during the 2024 men's Royal Rumble match. "The Second City Saint" landed awkwardly as he was planted by Drew McIntyre's Future Shock DDT, causing the injury.

CM Punk will serve as a special guest commentator during the World Heavyweight Championship match between Rollins and McIntyre on night two of WrestleMania 40.
