Jade Cargill Reveals What Made Her Nervous Before WWE Debut, Shares Prediction For Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns
Jade Cargill oozes confidence, but even she had a moment of worry ahead of her WWE debut.
Cargill is set to be a part of WrestleMania for the first time in her pro wrestling career, but she is showing no signs of concern before her big moment under the brightest of lights. In fact, Jade feels she has been built for moments like this.
In a six-women tag team match, Jade will team with Bianca Belair and Naomi to take on Dakota Kai and The Kabuki Warriors of Damage CTRL on Saturday night. If you were to ask Jade about WrestleMania jitters, she'll give you every reason to believe she has this one in the bag.

MMA Knockout spoke to Jade Cargill ahead of WrestleMania, and she explained why being on "The Grandest Stage of Them All" doesn't have her on edge.
"I keep getting that every time, I'm not nervous at all," Cargill said. "My first match ever with Shaquille O'Neal on national TV I didn't have any practices prior to that. I believe that I'm built for this. I'm not nervous, I'm very well prepared. That's why I was training at the PC, week in and week out. They trust what I'm doing, I don't know. I'm built for this, I'm Jade Cargill. I've always been thrown in the ocean."
Jade also knew she'd put her best foot forward before her WWE debut at the Royal Rumble, but there was one thing that gave her some pause.
"Honestly, with the Royal Rumble I was thinking about how the reaction would be more than anything. I mean, I don't know I just don't get nervous anymore. I go out there and perform and I leave it out there on the mat."
Cargill admitted she was surprised that WWE fans welcomed her with open arms immediately. In a rare moment of worry, Jade realized that the WWE Universe was on her side.
"Yes [she was surprised by immediate positive reaction from WWE fans], and that's why I said I was trying to figure out the reaction," Cargill said. "That's why I was more worried about it. I remember talking to my husband and talking to a couple of women like, 'I'm more nervous about the reaction. I don't know what reaction I'm gonna get.' And they were like, 'Why are you so nervous? You're gonna be fine.' I'm like, 'I don't know how they're gonna perceive me. Let's see how this goes,' because I've always been depicted as a bad guy [but] I've always been cheered. So, I guess I'm just still being cheered, until they turn on you, right? The reaction is something I was questioning before I got into the Royal Rumble, and I'm very elated of the WWE Universe embracing me."
When Jade teams with Belair and Naomi at WrestleMania 40, she'll be under the guidance of two seasoned veterans and former world champions. Cargill is happy to help Bianca Belair and Naomi even the odds against Damage CTRL.
"Well, Naomi is a legend, obviously," Cargill said. "She, as the veteran, she's been on grander stages. She's done so much for so long in this universe, but also Bianca is undefeated at WrestleMania. So, just those two veterans I'm learning a lot from. I'm excited to be with them."
At the end of our chat, I asked Jade Cargill for her prediction for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. Knowing about Jade's strong history with Cody, I knew the answer would be priceless and Jade did not disappoint.
"Cody, come on, I'm a Cody girl," Cargill said "We already know that. That question shouldn't even be brought up right now, he has to finish his story."
