Major WWE Name Reportedly Spotted Ahead of Friday Night SmackDown, Possible Spoilers

Could WWE fans be in for a big surprise on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown?

One huge superstar has reportedly been spotted ahead of tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown.

Tonight's episode will be the first for the blue brand after the events of WrestleMania 40. There has been plenty of buzz going into this show now that two new world champions were crowned for SmackDown during the biggest wrestling event of 2024. Cody Rhodes is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, while Bayley now lays claim to the WWE Women's Championship.

Could one recently signed WWE talent be making an appearance on Friday Night SmackDown this evening?

A report from PWInsider notes that Tama Tonga has been seen in Detroit, Michigan, the site of WWE SmackDown tonight. The SmackDown stars will be in action inside Little Caesars Arena, so it'll be interesting to see if Tama Tonga joins them on the show.

There has been much speculation over what the former NEVER Openweight Champion under NJPW will be doing on the main roster. Some have speculated that he could be introduced as a member of The Bloodline given his strong personal relationship with the likes of Roman Reigns and The Usos.

While Tama Tonga being spotted doesn't confirm he will be making his WWE debut tonight, one can't help but wonder if we're in for a big surprise from the former Bullet Club member.
