Wrestling News: Former AEW Star Signs Deal With TNA Wrestling Following Return

A former AEW star has officially put pen to paper with TNA Wrestling.

Free agency has been a fun time for both WWE and AEW, but that doesn't mean other promotions aren't making moves. TNA Wrestling has also scooped up some key talent from the free agency market, such as former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alex Hammerstone. The company hasn't stopped there.

A star who recently returned to the promotion at TNA Rebellion is officially back.

TNA Wrestling has announced that former AEW talent Mike Santana has signed a contract with the company. In a TNA digital exclusive interview, Santana said he returned to TNA for the top spot. No longer in the tag team division, Santana has main event dreams.

During his first run with TNA, Mike Santana teamed with Ortiz as part of LAX. The two became four-time Impact World Tag Team Champions. The pair moved on to AEW in 2019, but their team eventually disbanded and Santana hit free agency earlier this year. It didn't take him long to find his new home and he hopes to thrive as a singles superstar.

Santana was the mystery opponent for Steve Maclin at TNA Rebellion 2024. The Puerto Rican wrestler scored the pinfall to mark his successful TNA return. Now, fans eagerly wait to see what will be next for Mike Santana.
