WWE Contract Status of Two Major Monday Night Raw Superstars Reportedly Revealed, When Will Deals Expire?
There is major WWE contract news involving two key superstars.
Free agency in the wrestling industry has been a fun time for fans. We've seen the likes of Will Ospreay put pen to paper with AEW, while Giulia is expected to make her in-ring debut for WWE in the near future. There's also former NJPW star Tama Tonga, who signed with WWE earlier this year and is now involved with The Bloodline. It's led many to wonder what the status of top WWE talents with expiring deals will be in the coming weeks.
We now know some key details when it comes to the contracts of two massive WWE superstars.
WWE NEWS: THE ROCK NAMES FORMER WORLD CHAMPION THE "REAL" MVP OF WRESTLEMANIA 40
PWInsider is reporting that WWE is making it a priority to sign former multiple-time world champion Becky Lynch to a new deal. The report notes that there are roughly eight weeks left on her current contract. Prior to WrestleMania 40, Becky did tell Ariel Helwani on "The MMA Hour" that it's hard for her to envision performing for another wrestling company at this point in her Hall of Fame career.
In that same report from Mike Johnson, it's mentioned that Drew McIntyre has about 5-6 weeks left on his WWE deal. The two sides have yet to come to an agreement. While Becky has reportedly taken a break from WWE TV, McIntyre is still very much involved on Monday Night Raw. He fell short in his attempt to secure a shot at Damian Priest's World Heavyweight Championship, the same title that was ripped away from him at WrestleMania 40 following a successful cash-in.
