WWE News: Major Surprise Appearances Reportedly Planned for WWE Draft 2024
It appears WWE is gearing up for a few surprise appearances for this year's draft.
The WWE Draft 2024 will begin on the April 26 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, and will continue on the April 29 edition of Monday Night Raw. The company has already revealed the eligibility pool. In addition to certain red brand and blue brand superstars being swapped, NXT also figures to play a key role.
It appears the 2024 WWE Draft won't be taking place without a few surprises from some familiar faces.
BOOKER T NAMES RISING WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN STAR WHO IS READY FOR WORLD TITLE
PWInsider is reporting that the working plan is for some WWE Hall of Famers to appear on SmackDown this Friday night. While not set in stone, some of the names being discussed are former SmackDown GM Teddy Long, former WWE Champion JBL, and former women's titleholder Alundra Blayze, who recently inducted Bull Nakano into the WWE Hall of Fame in Philadelphia.
If WWE fans get the pleasure of seeing legends of the past appear for night one of the WWE Draft 2024, then it'll be interesting to see if that will also be the case for Raw on Monday. This would not be the first time WWE Hall of Famers appear in the Draft.
