A former multiple-time WWE champion and member of the Monday Night Raw roster thought retirement was looming.

"This ain't ballet." Those three words have been echoed in the wrestling business for decades. Legendary play-by-play commentator Jim Ross also used that line to put emphasis on the dangers of being an in-ring performer. "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus had his first match since August 2023 when he took on Ivar during the April 15th episode of WWE Raw. The three-time WWE Champion and former World Heavyweight Champion had been out of action due to a shoulder injury.

Sheamus has also battled with neck problems, and he recently revealed on his X account that he was close to calling it a career not long ago.

WWE fans welcomed Sheamus back to a nice ovation inside the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada this past Monday. The Irish bruiser emerged victorious in his first match back in several months.

Sheamus' first feud in his return from injury is unknown at this time. What is known is that "The Celtic Warrior" is prepared to deliver "banger after banger" now that he's hitting the ropes once again.
