One recently signed WWE talent was reportedly backstage for WrestleMania 40.

WWE has been making waves in free agency despite not signing three heavy hitters. While there will be no Mercedes Mone or Will Ospreay on the WWE roster for the next few years, the company was able to snag popular Japanese talent Giulia, who was in attendance for NXT Stand and Deliver and WrestleMania.

There was another recently signed WWE superstar who was reportedly taking in the WrestleMania 40 festivities backstage.

Dave Meltzer took to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter to report that Jacob Fatu has indeed signed with WWE and was backstage throughout WrestleMania XL. He noted in his report that Fatu and MLW failed to come to terms on a new deal.

Many felt Jacob's chance in WWE was long overdue, but it may have been delayed due to his criminal background. It's a thing of the past for Fatu now, as he gets a chance to make a huge name for himself in the most successful wrestling promotion today.

Speculation has run rampant that Fatu will be involved in The Bloodline story once WWE is ready to debut him on TV. In fact, some fans had been wondering if Fatu would appear as the newest member of the Roman Reigns-led faction at WrestleMania 40, but that didn't end up happening.

Fatu has been praised for his athleticism in the ring and his raw, unfiltered style on the mic. Perhaps he can be of great help to The Bloodline whenever Roman takes his planned breaks from the ring.
