Fantasy Outlook: Big Day On Way for Jets' Breece Hall?

Dynamic running back matches up well against Raiders' defense

New York Jets' running back Breece Hall has shown his game-breaking ability on multiple occasions this season and there could be more of it in Week 10 on Sunday Night Football.

Sports Illustrated senior fantasy analyst Michael Fabiano rates Hall as a Top 5 fantasy RB option this week, especially in a matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders' less-than-stellar run defense.

"Among the running backs, Breece Hall has moved into the top five based on a matchup in Las Vegas, while Rachaad White and Javonte Williams have surged into the top 15," said Fabiano.

Fabiano slotted Hall at No. 4 overall on the weekly running backs list, which was topped by San Francisco's Christian McCaffrey who faces Jacksonville on Sunday.

The Raiders are one of the NFL's more generous teams in yards per carry (4.54) allowed while Hall (5.2) owns one of the league's best per rush averages.

Every Las Vegas opponent has managed at least a 4.5 yards per carry average in the head-to-head matchup this season. Buffalo (6.1) and Detroit (6.0) both hit the 6.0 ypc mark in victories over the Raiders.

Even in the Raiders' convincing Week 9 win, New York Giants' RB1 Saquon Barkley gained 90 yards on 16 rushes (5.6 avg).

After a huge 177-yard rushing day in a Week 5 road win over Denver, Hall has been bottled up in the run game of late. He has averaged fewer than 3.0 yards per carry over his past three appearances, but has accounted for an uptick in receiving production during that time.

Hall has made at least four receptions in each of the last three games, including a 50-yard touchdown against the Giants and a key 25-yard gainer in the win over the Eagles.
