One of the looming questions for the 2023 New York Jets' offense is whether Breece Hall can return to the form he showed last season prior to tearing an ACL.

So far, so good, but there's still a long way to go.

"I’m excited for him to get back on the field," said head coach Robert Saleh during OTAs. "I feel like he won’t need to be limited during training camp, even though we still will, just to be conscientious and cautious with him, but he looks awesome."

Bursting onto the scene as a rookie, Hall averaged 5.8 yards per carry through his first 6.5 games. He reached paydirt in four straight appearances, including the Week 7 trip to Denver where his season ended.

With the running back battling back from knee surgery, Hall's fantasy value is on the rise. SI Fantasy analyst Michael Fabiano featured the Jets' primary ball carrier in "2023 Fantasy Football: Top 6 Breakout Running Backs."

Hall currently stands as the No. 10 overall running back in SI's latest positional rankings.

If healthy, Hall will likely play a key role in Nathaniel Hackett's offensive scheme. The Jets' new offensive coordinator has valued the ability to establish the run over the course of his coaching career.
