Greg Zuerlein is back for an encore with Gang Green

After performing efficiently on the one-year deal he signed in 2022, "Leg-a-tron" inked another one-year contract this past March. NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported that Zuerlein's new deal is worth up to $3.5 million.

Originally known for his long-distance kicks, the 35-year old Zuerlein isn't what he used to be but can still split the uprights from 50+ yards. In his first year with the Jets, "Greg the Leg" connected on six attempts over 50 yards highlighted by a franchise-record 60-yarder at Minnesota.

Providing the Jets with a reliable option, Zuerlein went a perfect 15-for-15 on field goal attempts inside of 40 yards. He missed one extra-point attempt and was also effective on kickoffs.

Nearly 84 percent of Zuerlein's kickoffs resulted in touchbacks last season.

During hiss 168-game career, the former sixth-round draft pick has converted 294 career field goals at an 82.1 percent success rate.
