Boston Collegeannounced it will wear special red bandanna uniforms Saturday honoring former Eagles lacrosse player Welles Crowther, who died saving at least a dozen people during the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.

The team's shoes, socks, gloves and helmets will be trimmed in a red bandanna design, in honor of the signature red bandanna Crowther wore the day he lost his life.

College football uniforms will feature 9/11 tributes

The Eagles coaching staff will wear Under Armour apparel designed in honor of Crowther that features the red bandanna pattern. The Crowther family will also be at the game against No. 9 USC.
