No game this year will make you feel older.

Take a trip back in time to 2005, if you will — Revenge of the Sith, "Feel Good Inc.," YouTube's founding, etc..

Seems like not that long ago, right? Wrong; 18 years have passed, and Saturday's game between UTSA and Temple will be living proof.

In 2005, quarterback Kurt Warner was in his first season with the Cardinals, with whom he had signed after a down year with the Giants. Warner's backup at the start of the season was Josh McCown, then just 26.

Fast forward to the present day, and Warner and McCown have sons of playing age. E.J. Warner is the Owls' starting quarterback, and Owen McCown is holding down the fort for the Roadrunners while Frank Harris recovers from a turf toe injury.

Arizona media relations guru Mark Dalton pointed out the coincidence in a Tuesday morning tweet.

Even more oddly, their circumstances mirror that of the '05 Cardinals: Warner as the starter from the jump, McCown as the injury replacement (Arizona finished 5-11 that season).

Irrespective of which signal-caller pulls out the victory in Philadelphia, the real winner will be the unrelenting march of time.
