When No. 18 Ohio State fans stormed the court after beating No. 2 Iowa, 100—92, on Sunday, one Buckeyes supporter accidentally ran into Hawkeyes star Caitlin Clark.

After the overtime upset, Clark was jogging off the court away from the mob of jubilant Ohio State players celebrating their win in the middle of the Schottenstein Center. She was rammed by an incoming Buckeyes fan who didn’t seem to see Clark and was trying to join Ohio State’s on-court victory huddle.

Clark was knocked down and stayed on the ground for a few moments. The fan looked in Clark’s direction but did not check to see whether she was O.K.

Thankfully, Clark didn’t suffer any serious injuries from the collision, and she addressed the incident in the postgame media session.

“It was kinda scary. It could’ve caused a pretty serious injury to me and knocked the wind out of me,” Clark told reporters. “But their AD already came and apologized to me, so I really appreciate that. It was just what comes with the territory.”

Clark finished the game with 45 points and scored all of Iowa’s nine overtime points in Sunday’s loss.

The Hawkeyes (18–2, 7–1 Big Ten) play host to Nebraska (13–6, 5–3) on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.
