Amari Jefferson is already committed to a school to play baseball, but the Tennessee native's football recruiting is down to 12 schools.

Jefferson is a 4-star recruit from Chattanooga, Tenn., where he plays for the Baylor School. His primary position is wide receiver but he is listed as an ATH on 247Sports. He is the No. 32 ATH in the 2024 recruiting class and the No. 5 player in Tennessee.

In addition to Alabama. Jefferson is considering Clemson, Colorado, Oregon, Florida State, Penn State, Oklahoma, Georgia, Miami, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Tennessee, where he's already committed to play baseball.

Jefferson  received his offer from Alabama in early March after visiting the campus for Junior Day.

Jefferson is a true deep-ball threat, using his speed to simply outrun his defenders for catches that usually end in a touchdown. The 4-star recruit from Tennessee can also get to his second gear very quickly, catching the ball on comeback routes then exploding past the secondary.

On tape, Jefferson doesn't display a lot of route running outside of comebacks and one really good stop-and-go route. He could stand to improve that aspect of his game before he reaches the college level.
