Alabama football has made the final cut list for two 4-star prospects. Safety Aaron Flowers will be choosing a school on April 7 and offensive tackle Josiah Thompson will make his selection on April 14.

Aaron Flowers

The 6-foot, 185-pound prospect out of Forney High School, Texas, is ranked as the consensus No. 10 safety in the nation and the No. 20 junior in the state, per On3 Recruiting. Flowers listed Alabama in his final 10 schools (including USC, Tennessee and Oklahoma) just one day after unofficially visiting Tuscaloosa on March 24.

Flowers' tape shows a lot of strengths that are similar to NFL Draft prospect Brian Branch.

Flowers has the size and length to break up passes outside most defensive backs' catch radii. The safety can also play cornerback as he excels at keeping the receiver nearly out of bounds without committing a penalty, something a lot of defensive backs across all levels struggle with.

However, what makes Flowers most like the Crimson Tide product is his ability to play as a nickel safety. Flowers gets to and behind the line of scrimmage very quickly when blitzing and tackles low in an aggressive and efficient manner.

Josiah Thompson

The 6-foot-6, 280-pound prospect out of Dillon High School, S.C., is ranked as the consensus No. 4 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 2 junior in the state. Thompson listed Alabama in his final six schools Saturday.

Thompson's tape showcases a multitude of reasons why he is in the top five at his position and a representative of South Carolina recruits.

Instead of waiting for the edge rusher to make a move so he could counter, Thompson ferociously explodes off the line of scimmage. He then proceeds to bulldoze the edge, eliminating any chance of reaching the backfield.

Even with his size, the left tackle has the speed and agility to move across the line of scrimmage and block on the right side well before trouble ensues.
