Alabama basketball remained No. 2 this week in both the latest AP Top 25 and USA Today Sports Coaches Polls on Monday morning.

In the AP Top 25, the Crimson Tide received five first-place votes compared to the seven it received last week. Kansas received eight first-place votes despite being ranked No. 3 in this week's poll.

Around the rest of the Southeastern Conference, Tennessee is the next ranked team at No. 12. Kentucky is ranked No. 23, followed closely by Texas A&M at No. 24. Missouri received 16 voting points while Arkansas received 7, but neither were enough to obtain a spot in the Top 25.

In the Coaches Poll, the Crimson Tide received two first-place votes while the Jayhawks received three. Concerning the rest of the SEC, Tennessee is once again the next-highest team at No. 14 while Texas A&M is at No. 21. Kentucky received 49 voting points — the only SEC to do so and not be ranked.
