In this story:

The Thursday edition of "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" featured BamaCentral's Blake Byler.

Byler and Gaither spent the hour under the hood of the Alabama basketball program, discussing the latest storylines surrounding the organization.

Who is the Tide targeting with its final three roster spots? What will new coach Ryan Pannone add to the Alabama coaching staff? Can Nate Oats have the Crimson Tide, once again, competing for the SEC championship in 2023-24?

Byler joins the program to answer these questions and more. He detailed and discussed the potential forwards that Alabama could add to its roster, and broke down just how they would fit in Oats's system.

Can you imagine potential Jahvon Quinerly lob passes to Grant Nelson next season?

The pair discussed Alabama superstar Brandon Miller's draft status, can he fit in Charlotte? Or will he go there and disappear like so many have before him.

Lastly the discussion landed on two larger basketball topics, Victor Wembanyama and the NBA Finals.

Does Byler consider Wembanyama a "can't miss" prospect? What could hold the 7-footer back from being a superstar?

The NBA Finals are currently 2-1 in favor of the Denver Nuggets, but Byler and Gaither are pulling for the Miami Heat. Can Heat head coach Eric Spolstra work his magic and find a way to take down the two-time NBA MVP?
