Alabama basketball's Brandon Miller has received another All-American honor, receiving first-team recognition by the Associated Press.

In addition to Miller, Purdue's Zach Edey, Indiana's Trayce Jackson-Davis, Kansas' Jalen Wilson and Houston's Marcus Sasser were named to the first team.

Miller has already received All-American honors, being named to the first team by the Sporting News. He was also the only freshman to be named to any of the Sporting News All-America teams.

In addition to being an All-American, Miller, who led the SEC in scoring, has also received SEC Player of the Year and Freshman/Newcomer of the year by the conference coaches and by the Associated Press.

Another award that Miller is up for is the Wooden Award, given to the nation's best collegiate player. His path to being a finalist hasn't come without some controversy, however: Miller was originally left off the list, potentially because of the situation surrounding his connection to the crime committed by former Alabama player Darius Miles. But Miller was soon added as a member at a later date, putting him back in contention for the award.
