The Thursday edition of "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" featured two-time national champion and NFL veteran Christian Miller.

Miller joined the program to discuss the Crimson Tide's offseason, Alabama's defensive expectations and other major storylines in college football.

The former Alabama captain talked about Nick Saban's philosophy around discipline as Tony Mitchell's spring arrest kicked off the conversation.

Miller then discussed name, image and likeness (NIL) as it currently stands in college football. He details how he was able to make ends meet in college without NIL and offers his perspective on the differences between true NIL and money offered by collectives.

The Crimson Tide hired new defensive coordinator Kevin Steele this offseason, a coach Miller's familiar with, dating back to his days with the Tide. The outside linebacker detailed some of the differences between Steele and former defensive coordinator Pete Golding.

Steele isn't the only change on the defensive side as Alabama lost Will Anderson, Jordan Battle and Henry To'o To'o to the NFL. How does a team fill the void left in the leadership department with those three players? Miller told the audience about his own experience growing into a leadership role at Alabama.

The program wrapped by looking at the loose ends in college football, a new 2024 schedule has been announced and Miller told the audience his thoughts. Did you know in the five seasons he spent in Tuscaloosa he never got to play his home state South Carolina?
