  • Three Alabama football players were honored as the program's student athletes of the week. Quarterback Jalen Milroe, lineman Olaus Alinen and defensive lineman Qua Russaw.
  • Herb Jones scored 19 points, with five rebounds, two assists and a steal in the New Orleans Pelican's 106-95 loss to the Miami Heat.
  • Former Alabama linebacker in the Nick Saban era, Nico Johnson has accepted a position coaching job with the Nevada Wolfpack.
