The 2023 NBA Draft is still 71 days away, but that doesn't mean there aren't any current projections for how the annual event will go.

ESPN NBA Draft analyst Jonathan Givony released his current mock draft on Wednesday morning, and it has some interesting landing spots for former Alabama players Brandon Miller and Noah Clowney.

The obvious, no-doubt selection this year at No. 1 will be France's Victor Wembanyama. Every scout on the planet has Wembanyama going at the top spot. The 7-foot-2 star is perhaps the highest touted draft prospect since LeBron James in 2003. He has guard skills and can shoot the three while being nearly as tall as Purdue's Zach Edey.

Who comes next?

Givony says Miller goes No. 2 overall to the Houston Rockets — teaming up with former Auburn star Jabari Smith Jr. Houston has a great young core — adding Miller would be another key piece in the Rockets' rebuild.

How about Clowney? Oh nothing that interesting — just joining former Crimson Tide great Collin Sexton in Salt Lake City. Givony has Clowney going 16th overall to the Utah Jazz. Utah also has former Auburn standout Walker Kessler who had a tremendous rookie season in 2022-23.

There will continue to be plenty of changes in opinion before the draft in late June but Alabama fans would sure be happy to see two of their guys go in the first half of the first round on draft night.

The 2023 NBA Draft is set for June 22 on ESPN.
