There were no shortage of headlines to talk about on Wednesday as the Crimson Tide was in the news both on and off the field.

Joe Gaither opened up the Wednesday show by addressing the latest developments in the Darius Miles capital murder case. Miles was denied bond for a second time on Wednesday, despite new information being revealed in the past months.

What does it mean for Miles and his accomplice, Michael Davis? Was Cedric Johnson present in the court room today? Gaither discusses both in the opening segment.

The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team performed well on Tuesday night in Hoover. Gaither gives credit to Hunter Furtado and Andrew Pinckney for leading Bama to an opening night win.

The Tide takes on the No. 1 seeded Florida Gators on Wednesday. Alabama may have lost the regular season series 2-1 in March, but Bama's recent run of good play should supply the Tide with the confidence needed to take down the Gators.

It only made sense to transition straight from baseball to the softball diamond with Super Regionals on deck in Tuscaloosa. Montana Fouts didn't play last weekend in the regional round, but head coach Patrick Murphy told reporters that she was available in case of emergency.

How should Murphy utilize "The People's Queen" this weekend with the Northwestern Wildcats coming to Tuscaloosa this weekend?

The Wildcats have tangled with some of the nation's best softball programs in 2023, including Oklahoma, UCLA and even multiple games against SEC competition.

Should Murphy save Fouts for an elimination game scenario, or use her right away to set the tone against Northwestern?
