Happy Thursday on "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral"! Alabama football opens training camp next week so just a little bit longer until the quarterback conversation ramps up to full tilt.

Let's kick off the program by rehashing Demarcus Riddick's commitment yesterday. The five-star edge rusher flipped from Georgia to Auburn and had some very interesting reasons why he chose the Tigers.

The Tide will pivot to other defensive players in the 2024 class and we highlight how big a weekend it is as it's the final recruiting weekend of the summer. Can Alabama hold onto Perry Thompson? If he flips what will Nick Saban and company do at the receiver position?

It's Chicago Bears day on BamaCentral as Chris Walsh and Wyatt Fulton continue their Bama in the NFL series ahead of the new year. What are the storylines for the three former Alabama players currently on Chicago's roster?

We round out today's show by discussing Minnesota's P.J. Fleck and recent reporting that claim he's been operating a toxic culture with the Gophers. How strong are anonymous sources? Gaither dissects the complaints  as we decide if Fleck is a mad man, or just trying to establish a culture to enhance Minnesota's program and players.
