Happy Memorial Day! Monday's show takes a look inside the Alabama football program as seven new players enrolled at the Capstone over the weekend.

Today's show opens with a thank you to the nation's veterans as we remember those who served and gave their lives in order that we may enjoy the freedom we have today.

The University of Alabama officially begins its summer semester on Tuesday and with that brings the final members of the 2023 Crimson Tide football team to campus.

The Capstone welcomes the final four freshmen and three transfers as the roster appears to be finalized. 

What will be the impact of 5-star prospects Keon Keely and Richard Young? Why were each of the transfers identified as assets to Nick Saban and the season ahead?

Alabama softball advanced to the College Softball World Series in Oklahoma City, thanks to two narrow victories over the Northwestern Wildcats.

The focus was obviously on superstar Montana Fouts, but we shined the spotlight on junior pitcher Jaala Torrence. Torrence entered game one in relief and did not allow a single run. She then took the circle as the starter for the following two games and only allowed two runs. 

Torrence pitched 11 innings against the Wildcats and only allowed two runs while striking out nine batters. 

The softball program wasn't the only spring sport that had its season extended over the weekend. 

Alabama baseball was selected to host the Regional round in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The Tide had not earned a chance to host since 2006. 

Sewell-Thomas Stadium also welcomes Nicholls State, Boston College and Troy to this weekend's regional round. 

The show rounded out with a short discussion about the WWE's "Night of Champions" event from the weekend, and finally set up tomorrow's discussion, which will focus heavily on SEC Spring Meetings in Destin FL.
