The Jaguars won the AFC East in 2022 and expectations remain high around Jacksonville for 2023. Unfortunately, third-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence will enter the season without his starting left tackle.

The National Football League has suspended former Alabama offensive lineman Cam Robinson four games for violations to the Performance Enhancing Drug policy, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Robinson is entering his seventh year in the NFL, and this is his first suspension. He signed a three-year contract worth $54 million in 2022, but this suspension will be costly.

According to Field Yates of ESPN, the four missed games will cost Robinson approximately $3.55 million and voids guaranteed clauses in his contract.

"As a veteran leader in the locker room, I always want to set a good example and my actions in this instance are not a reflection of that goal. I apologize to the fans, my coaches and, most importantly, my teammates," said Robinson after his suspension was announced. "It hurts me that I cannot be out there with my brothers at the start of the regular season. I will attack training camp the same way I have for the last six seasons, to make sure I am ready both mentally and physically.”

The Louisiana-native was drafted in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft and has appeared in 75 games across his six seasons in the league after being at Alabama from 2014-2016.

He will be eligible to return to Jacksonville's lineup for a Week Five matchup at the Buffalo Bills.
