Former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is a coveted prospect — for many teams.

Just a day after completing a top-30 visit with the Carolina Panthers, Young will do the same with the Houston Texans on Wednesday — NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported.

Houston hired DeMeco Ryans as its new head coach on Jan. 31. Ryans, a Bessemer native, played linebacker at Alabama from 2002-2005.

The Texans also have former Crimson Tide receiver John Metchie III on their roster. He is currently battling Leukemia — but is expected to be a part of Houston's offseason program in some capacity.

Young has also drawn serious interest from the Panthers — who hold the first overall pick in the draft. Carolina visited with Young in Tuscaloosa prior to his Pro Day on March 23. Young took a top-30 visit with the Panthers on Tuesday.

Now, he's in Houston — a busy man.

An NFL top-30 visit is exactly what it sounds like. All 32 franchises are given 30 individual visits prior to every draft — an increased number from the 20 allowed before 2006.

Unsurprisingly, Young is on that list for both the Texans and Panthers — and probably a few more in the near future. Just recently, Young took over as the favored No. 1 overall selection on sportsbooks.

The 2023 NFL Draft begins on Thursday, April 27 in Kansas City, Mo.
