More pieces of the Alabama basketball 2023-24 schedule are falling into place.

The Crimson Tide will host Indiana State at Coleman Coliseum on Nov. 10 in what will likely be the second game of the season according to Jon Rothstein.

It will be the first time these two programs meet on the hardwood.

It has been a staple in the Nate Oats era for Alabama to schedule tough non-conference games, and it has helped the Crimson Tide earn higher seeds in the NCAA Tournament.

The 2023-24 season will be no different. In addition to Indiana State, Alabama already knows it will face Creighton on the road, Purdue in a neutral site game in Toronto, Canada and Arizona in Phoenix. The Crimson Tide is playing in the Emerald Coast Classic over Thanksgiving week against teams like Ohio State, Oregon and Santa Clara.

Some of the other non-conference home games already known include Mercer and South Alabama.

Alabama is coming off one of its best seasons in program history. The Crimson Tide earned the first No. 1-seed for an Alabama team after winning the SEC regular season and tournament titles. The season ended in the Sweet 16.

Oats will be replacing some key pieces from that team like Brandon Miller, Noah Clowney and Charles Bediako, but also brings back veteran guards Mark Sears and Jahvon Quinerly alongside a talented group of transfer and recruits.
